The School of Public Administration is among Canada’s leaders in the delivery of programs in public and non-profit sector administration and community development. We invite applications for 2 full-time assistant professor positions (tenure-track). We are looking for candidates with pertinent expertise in, for example, public administration, Indigenous studies, environmental studies, economics, health administration, political sciences, sociology, psychology, evaluation, dispute resolution, education, business, community development, social innovation. A substantive interest in environmental sustainability, in Indigenous governance or equity would be considered an asset. The preferred start date of these positions is January 1, 2019 or later.
Candidates for the appointment must hold a Ph.D., ideally with post-doctoral training, in a relevant field for public administration. Candidates must have teaching experience and a promising research program.
We are interested in recruiting people who collaborate well and are interested in making a difference in their academic and community environments through teaching, research, and university and community service. The successful candidates will be expected to teach in the graduate and undergraduate programs, in both online and on campus formats, supervise graduate students, conduct research and participate in the administrative structure of the School.
