The University fo Victoria School of Public Administration is among Canada’s leaders in the delivery of programs in public and non-profit sector administration and community development. We invite applications for a full-time assistant professor position (tenure-track). We are looking for candidates with an expertise in Indigenous public and community sector administration, policy, governance, or community development. The preferred start date is July 1, 2019.

Candidates for the appointment should hold a Ph.D., or have a fixed dissertation defense date within three months of commencement of the position, in a relevant field with specific expertise in Indigenous public and community sector administration, policy, governance, and development. Post-doctoral training is an asset. Candidates must have teaching experience and a promising research program.

We are interested in recruiting a person who collaborates well and is interested in making a difference in her/his academic and community environments through teaching, research, and university and community service. The successful candidate will be expected to teach in the graduate and undergraduate programs, in both online and on campus formats, supervise graduate students, conduct research and participate in the administrative structure of the School.
