IRPP Knowledge Mobilizer Awards

Dear Friend of the IRPP,

Since 1972, the Institute for Research on Public Policy has been amplifying the work of Canadian researchers and scholars, and helping to connect their insights with decision-makers. These research partners have contributed to the public conversation and moved the needle on key public policy challenges.

This year, to help mark our 50th anniversary, we will be awarding two prizes to recognize the work of individuals who have done an exceptional job increasing the public’s understanding of a key public policy issue:

  • One award will be given to a Canadian researcher or scholar at a Canadian post-secondary institution who has engaged in outstanding knowledge mobilization activities.
  • One award will be given to a graduate student for an original op-ed on an important issue related to Canadian public policy.

Winners will be awarded $1500 and will receive their prize at the IRPP’s 50th anniversary gala dinner in Ottawa.

If you or someone you know fits the bill, submit your nomination as soon as possible! All entries must be received via the contest’s online portal before 5 p.m., on September 30, 2022.

Thank you for your consideration – and good luck!
