The National Student Paper Competition (NSPC) is an opportunity for Canadian graduate students to analyze current Government of Canada priorities and recommend innovative solutions to senior officials.

- Grand prize: a mentorship package (4 sessions across 4 months) with senior public servants.
Key details:
- Application deadline: Extended to February 13th, 2026
- How to apply: Contact a professor or supervisor in your Canadian university department, program or faculty to seek support. Submit the 1500-word paper analyzing current government of Canada priorities to the professor or supervisor, who should then complete the online application form and submit three versions of the paper.

- Purpose: Recognize and amplify significant public administration-relevant work by Canadian graduate students.
