The Pierre De Celles Award for Excellence in Teaching Public Administration recognizes outstanding accomplishment that is worthy of emulation. Aiming to foster innovation, IPAC’s Pierre De Celles award encourages and recognizes exceptionally effective and creative teachers. It is sponsored by the IPAC Endowment Fund. The winner is announced at a plenary session of the IPAC Conference.
Professor Pierre De Celles taught for many years at the École nationale d’administration publique, and was its Director General. Prof. De Celles was also a member of the Board of Directors of IPAC, and acted as Treasurer and President-Elect. The award was created honour his memory and to promote excellence in the teaching of public administration studies.
IPAC and CAPPA will call for nominations of excellent mid-career post-secondary teachers in the field of public administration for the 2010 award beginning in January 2019. For more information, visit the Pierre De Celles Award page on the IPAC site.
