STEVEN K. HUDSON RESEARCH CHAIR IN CANADA-US RELATIONS

 

St. Francis Xavier University (StFX) invites applications for the Steven K. Hudson Research Chair in Canada-U.S. Relations at the Brian Mulroney Institute of Government. Hudson Research Chair in Canada-U.S. Early career or established, candidates should have expertise in key areas of Canada-US relations, such as:

  • Trade and economic cooperation;
  • Defense, security and foreign affairs;
  • Environment and sustainable development;
  • Culture and immigration.

With an initial term of 5 years, renewable for a second term, the Chair will be expected to demonstrate research competence, a capacity to contribute to the Institute’s activities, and to teach a reduced course load in the Public Policy and Governance program.

Review of applications will begin in early January 2024, with a view to having the Chair in place by July 1, 2024. StFX is located in Mi’kma’ki, the unceded ancestral territory of the Mi’kmaq people.
