The Department of Political Science at Université Laval, in collaboration with the Research Chair on Public Administration in the Digital Age, invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position on Digital Transformations of Public Administration to begin June 1, 2020. Hire will be at the rank of Assistant Professor.
Duties include teaching at all three levels of study, supervising Master’s and Doctoral students, engaging in ongoing research and publication, active participation to academic life and to the reputation of Université Laval, and all other activities foreseen by the Collective Agreement.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in political science or related disciplines (candidates who are near completion will also be considered), demonstrated excellence in teaching and peer-reviewed publications. Preference will be given to candidates having the capacity to teach methodology to all levels of study. A demonstrated aptitude to carry out applied research with institutional partners will be considered as an asset.
Applications must include a cover letter outlining the candidate’s research agenda, curriculum vitae, a sample of published scholarly writing, samples of a course outline, teaching evaluations or of other evidence of teaching excellence.
